At Prefer Homes, Mental Health Awareness Week was an important opportunity to come together, start conversations, and show support for mental wellbeing. To mark the occasion, all staff proudly wore green as a symbol of awareness, encouragement, and solidarity.

Throughout the day, the home was filled with positivity as staff and young people discussed the importance of looking after mental health, supporting one another, and creating an environment where everyone feels safe to talk openly.

We understand how important emotional wellbeing is for the young people we care for. Creating a nurturing and understanding environment is at the heart of everything we do, and awareness days like this help reinforce those values. Small acts of support and kindness can make a big difference in helping young people feel heard, valued, and supported.

We are proud of our staff team for getting involved and helping to promote such an important message. Together, we continue to encourage openness, understanding, and positive mental health every day.
