That is thanks to Prefer Homes.” CM was a young guy when he moved into our Yarm Road Placement. He came to us with knife crime charges and a lot of anger issues. Throughout his time at the placement, whilst working alongside our staff, this young man changed his behaviour and engaged with staff to build on life skills. He gained his own tenancy with the help of Prefer Homes and went from a young man to an adult with hopes and dreams and was equipped with the skills to fulfil these.
